I have been trying to put together for months the list of books I have been meaning to read, and thankfully, I had the time to finally finalize it - at least for now.
*The titles in bold letters are the ones I have already finished reading and the underlined titles are the ones I have bought but haven't read yet.
The Chamber by John Grisham - currently reading (it's my dad's book, by the way)
The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
The Informers by Bret Easton Ellis
Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis
Imperial Bedrooms (sequel of Less Than Zero) by Bret Easton Ellis
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
South of the Border, West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami
Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
The Remains of the Day bu Kazuo Ishiguro
Please Look After Mother by Shin Kyong Sook
Scarlett (sequel of Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell) by Alexandra Ripley - which I doubt that I will ever finish reading. But I'll give a shot of reading it anyway if I ever decide to purchase it. Haha
I actually devoted weeks of research on all these books, except for Safe Haven (my blockmate Chelsea suggested this one a few hours ago) which I only researched for about 5 minutes before I left for school. Haha. Thanks, Chelsea! But above all, thank you to
Fully Booked Online for their wonderful suggestion list, and to Fully Booked TriNoma for reserving a copy of Less Than Zero for me. Hihi. And to all the other bookstores I've often been visiting as well - Powerbooks and National Bookstore! HAHA yes,
exagge ako mag research. And lastly, to the people who have written helpful reviews on these books over the internet :-)
If you would like to suggest other book titles, feel free to do so. I would appreciate it very much.
